Safeguarding Children, Young People and Adults at Risk Policy Statement

Our Commitment to Safeguarding

All Board members and anyone volunteering for Water Drops Partnership Ltd., are committed to practice safeguarding guidelines which promote the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk – if they are participating in any activity that Water Drops is involved with – in order to protect them from harm.

We wish to ensure that all children, young people and adults at risk who are participating in any presentation made by Water Drops are in a safe environment in which they have fun and feel valued.

All Board members accept and recognise their responsibilities to develop awareness of issues which can harm children, young people and adults at risk, and to establish and maintain a safe environment for them. They are committed to reviewing policies and procedures and practices at least every three years.

We will endeavour to safeguard children, young people and adults at risk by:

  • Following carefully procedures laid down for asking for volunteers to assist with any Water Drops activities.
  • Report any concerns to those who need to know within the activity setting and involving staff and/or parents appropriately.
  • Ensuring safety procedures are adhered to.

We will commit to reviewing all policies, procedures and practice at regular intervals, at least once every three years.
